INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION

PLEASE SPECIFY for FREE PAPER SESSION or for POSTER SESSION

HOW TO SUBMIT:

1. LANGUAGE: Abstract must be typed and presented in English
2. FONT: Use font type Times New Roman, Font Size 12
3. WORD LIMIT: The abstract must be written within 250 words. Excluding title, and the names of the author (s) and their institutions
4. Type of Article: Original article, case Report. No review article should be presented.
5. CONTENT: The submitted abstracts must contain the following:
   1. Objectives: State the main objective of the study
   2. Materials and methods: Briefly describe the design of the study and how it was conducted
   3. Results: Present the main results with appropriate statistics
   4. Conclusion: Limit the conclusions to those that are directly supported by the results.
   5. TITLE: The title of the abstract must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS with the exception of scientific names, which should be in upper and lower case forms and italicized.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING ABSTRACT:

• Scientific committee has full authority for selection/cancellation of Papers.
• All abstracts will be peer reviewed
• Abstracts will be accepted from only those who have registered for KMACON 2024.
• Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Supporting documentation will not be accepted by email.
• There will be no exceptions for missed deadlines. The deadline is 10^th October 2024.
• If selected for either oral or poster presentation, you will be recognized as a presenter at the conference. No financial support will be offered to accepted presenters.
• There is a 150-character limit for the title of your abstract submission.
• Once submitted an abstract may not be edited.
• Abstracts can be submitted to or presented at other meetings, but will not be accepted if the abstract is previously published in a journal at the time of submission.
• Before copying and pasting information from Word into the forms, remove all special formatting.
• Main authors of submissions will be notified of acceptance or declination maximum within a week of its receival. If accepted additional deadlines will be provided in the acceptance notification. All authors of accepted abstracts MUST confirm their acceptance.

 PRESENTING AUTHOR DETAILS:

• The presenting author’s name must be underlined
• Along with the abstract / full paper, the authors should submit:
• Forwarding letter from the concerned Head of the Institute / Department with seal indicating that “the paper submitted for consideration is an original research work of the first author”.
• RIGHTS TO PUBLISH: In submitting the abstracts the authors also grant the “KMACON 2024”organizing committee the right to publish the abstract in the proceedings both in hard and electronic form.
• ACCEPTANCE: Presenting author shall be notified of the status of the abstract after being reviewed by the committee, by email. Authors selected for oral & poster presentation will be informed within 7 days of receival. Communication will only be made by email only on this regard. Hence including email address along with abstract is mandatory.
• REGISTRATION: All entries should reach within last date SPECIFIED maximum. Submissions will then be reviewed and acceptance conveyed within 7 days of receival.
